Hens & Flowers: a love-hate relationship

I love our chickens, but they sure do create some challenges in the garden! This lovely chicken loves to scratch, scratch, scratch. And with that, she often rips out the tiny seedlings I’ve planted. I’ve found using rocks and chicken wire very helpful for this situation. We’ll see if my zinnias come up or if the hens have scratched them right out. Only time will tell.
